For your consideration today is this very old year book or annual from 1906 from the College of Gustavus Adolphus that is still located in St. Peter, Minnesota of the USA. This is a grand old yearbook called the Runes, it has 168 pages and is a hardcover style book, it is loaded with all kinds of pictures, stories, many advertisers from that era, and lots of info from the great college. T is one main picture near the front that shows 7 different buildings on the campus which is pretty cool, they cover North Hall, Business Hall, Main Building, New Building, South Hall, Presidents Residence and Gymnasium. T are photo's of the graduating seniors, they are actually featured one on a page with a story for each of them, so pretty cool feature, then faculty, groups and clubs, music,churches from St. Peter, then of course a shot of the mens basketball team. T are lots of pictures of scenes and doings around St. Peter and also a lot of history from the school and town, little short story's, and much more! T are 18 pages that cover the advertisers, some include St. Peter Roller Mills, Max Hoefer shoe man, St Peter Laundry, Scandia Life Insurance Company, Byron and Willard Company out of Minneapolis, Minnesota, and more! The book measures 9.75" tall by 7" wide, it remains in very fine shape on the outside, and in great shape on the inside, the covers show some light wear or bumping along the edges and corners, but nothing bad at all, t is some light damage to the binding cover, but that is minimal, t is just a touch of discoloration to the covers, but really still looks nice! The pages are all attached well with a few inside cracks along the binding edge, they are very clean with a nice luster, we have not found any rips or damage, and just has very minimal wear. Really clean info on the inside, and a super book for the avid St. Peter or Gustavus Adolphus collector!
