Vintage 1920 THORENS Swiss Made Semi Automatic Cigarette Petrol Lighter You are bidding for a very rare, vintage, 1920 THORENS Swiss made Semi Automatic Petrol Lighter with wind guard . We believe that the lighter is made of chrome plated brass but it is extremely well used and, consequently, the chrome plating has almost totally worn off and the lighter looks very "tired". The lighter has no flint or petrol so we cannot say for sure that it is working but all the mechanical parts appear to function correctly. Hence, we are selling this item for restoration and as seen in the photographs. The bottom of the lighter is marked "Thorens, Swiss Made, Brit. Pat. January 29, 1920, No: 137,508.
