This is a Vintage 1920's Advance Model 'D' Gumball Machine. This machine is 14 3/4" tall, takes a 1 cent coin and comes with a padlock & key for removal of globe and lock & key in the base for coin removal. The top has a hasp for the padlock to secure the machine. The globe is a "Large Capacity" type without any nicks or chips on the rims. The base is steel construction, and has been completely refurbished and power coated with blue/green and black colors. The coin plate is nickel-plated brass with patent dates of 11-5-12, 9-11-17, and 4-24-23. The base has rubber bumpers on the bottom for surface protection.
