Early 1920's Art Deco style "Chained Bulldog" car mascot or hood ornament. Made of bronze, never to have been refinished, is covered in gorgeous green patina. The original owner used and enjoyed this ornament, I was told that this dog has been riding on the hood of a vehicle since the 20's. The ornament measures 4 1/4" high and 6 1/2" at the widest point. It is marked : E = Marvel and GC 774 (I'm pretty sure this is the number). It appears to be in excellent condition. I can find no broken or missing parts. T is just a little surface rust on one hind leg and at the top of the base w water would have sat. Please email me with any questions.
