Up for auction this week we have a set of lighthouse bookends from the 1920-30's made of cast iron. They measure 7 and 1/4 inches high, 4 and 1/2 inches wide at the base and 2 and 1/2 inches deep at the base. The lighthouses are a dark brown color with a little copper color on the sides and front of the bases. We believe that this is the original patina. The copper color is fairly worn and scratched. The felt on the bottom of the bases is missing and t is some rust on the bottom of the bases which would be covered by the felt.

Most of my items are estate finds so I really have no way of knowing if they come from a smoke free or pet free home. Keep this in mind if you are overly sensitive.

I charge actual shipping cost plus one dollar extra to help with the costs of packing materials, etc. I do try to pack items carefully but I have seen what the postal service can do to a package so insurance is recommended but still optional. As the seller I am not responsible for items shipped without insurance.

INTERNATIONAL BIDDERS - I do ship international - please wait till I send you an invoice before paying. I will pack your item and offer you Priority or a cheaper way of shipping if possible (1 st Class, Flat Rate, etc.). Please remember insurance & tracking are only available on Priority packages and the shipping times do not include possible delays in customs. Make sure you know what your country’s customs laws are and what they charge fees on since I do put the actual selling price on the customs form.

The weight I put in for shipping is an estimate since I do not pack my items until they have a bid. So please wait for the invoice since your shipping may be a little less. Once payment is received items are usually shipped out next day, if paid on a Friday your package probably will not go out till Monday.
