Vintage late 1920's Composition Rose O'Neill Scootles Kewpie Doll This auction is for an adorable 12" tall composition Scootles doll, modeled after the wonderful illustrations of artist, Rose ONeill. The doll is really in remarkable condition for a doll of this age. The only true damage I see is the paint chips on the toes. The previous owner had dressed the little doll in a pair of shoes just slightly too tight. We all know what that does to the toes. He also has a tiny hairline crack at the mold line on his neck. Amazingly I don't see any crazing in his compo. He comes with the clothes and shoes as pictured. A wonderful early doll perfect for a Kewpie collector! From a non-smoking home.
