Welcome to Marie's Vintage Perfumes. This store is a collection of vintage perfume bottles from the estate of Marie-Louise Fredyma, my mother who passed away in 2010 after nearly 70 years in the antique business. Marie's perfumes were a special place in her collection of antiques and vintage items and are now offered for sale as part of her estate.

Description:

Vintage 1920's Lentheric 6 Bottle Perfume Store Tester with the following bottles:

(1) Lotus D'Or (1924), (2) Miracle (1925), (3) La Foret Vierge (1925), (4) Asphodele (1928), (5) Unknown, (6) Au Fil de L'Eau (1885)

Background Lentheric:

Lentheric is an old company which was established in 1795 as a millinery. In the 19th century, fashion accessories were added to the store. From 1873, perfumes were being informally blended in the store for sale. Guillame Lentheric, a hairdresser, established the perfume-cosmetics company La Parfumerie des Orchidees in 1885. By 1900, branches were opened in Deauville, Monte Carlo, Nice, Baden-Baden, and London. In 1910, the company was acquired by Velsch & Holtz.

Lentheric often used Baccarat bottles in their production which are often sought by vintage perfume collectors. Bottles prior to 1936 were not always stamped Baccarat.

Condition:

Bottles are in excellent condition with no cracks, scratches, or chips. Bottles still have some of the original perfume left in each. Tester holder is in excellent conditon with no repairs done or cracks.
