Click Double your traffic. Get Vendio Gallery - Now FREE! This is an older vintage ( art deco era 1915 to 1927) heavy ring. Made of sterling silver . Could be for lady or man. It's very highly collectible. Denmark made by Georg Jensen. Has his 1915 to 1927 name mark. The Georg Jensen's exact mark of name is in semi-oval oval yet nearly circular dotted intaglio script mark with raised mark in center, less oval with name script closer as oppose to his later non-intaglio more oval flat surface script mark with his first and last name less closely joined. (The 1915 to 1927 mark of the name "GEORG" on top and "Jensen" on bottom, are less spread apart as shown in illustration # 5 at: /jensen_marks.html . Hallmarked: "GEORG JENSEN" . Other marks: ".925 S (Sterling Silver), DENMARK, 500 (article # made)". Has very impressive smith workmanship. It's a unique abstract designed with one wide of shank of thicker width than other side coming to a point . Shank widths from upper to rear are nearly 1/2 inch, 1/3 inch, 1/4 inch and over 1/8 inch (5 mm) in back. Ring looks impressive on most fingers (great pinky ring for guy). Ring is a size 7 ( N 1/2 in the UK and AU) but consider that right hand fingers tend to be a 1/2 size thicker than left hand fingers (same principle applies in case left handed). Ring is very heavy.
