This auction is for a vintage 1925 Frank Holton & Co. Elkhorn, Wis Trumpet. Serial #89565. Overall the trumpet is in very good mechanical condition. Valves are in great shape and have very good action. I have played on this horn for about 10 years and it is in the same condition as when I first got it. I just had the trumpet gone over and the valves serviced with new felts put in it. Cosmetically it does have some wear as seen in the pictures but doesnt take anything away from the sound or ability of this horn. T is a small ding on the second and third valves slide and a very small one on the bell. it is also missing the saddle w you place your pinky as also seen in picture. It is a great sounding horn, with great tone. This would be a great horn for your vintage collection, if you like the sound of old horn or are just getting started with playing a need a good first horn without spending a ton of money on a new one.
