Payment Vintage 1930 Art Deco Chase Chrome Comet Coffee Service
This is a nice example of a 1930s vintage Art Deco Chase Chrome Comet coffee service. The set consists of the Comet coffee maker, designed by Walter von Nessen, the matching creamer and covered sugar and the circular etched serving tray. The set is in excellent condition, and looks as through it was never used; no dents, dings, chrome wear, or scratches. The off-white bakelite handles are also in like new condition with no chips or cracks. The coffee pot measures 8 inches tall and makes 7 cups of coffee. Still has the original stem and basket in the pot, and the original cord. The sugar is 4 1/2 inches tall and the creamer is 3 1/2 inches tall. They are both in the same excellent condition as the coffee maker. The tray is 12 inches in diameter, and etched with concentric rings. It is also in excellent condition; no dings, dents or scratches. Coffee maker, creamer and sugar are all marked with the Chase Centaur mark. This is a very nice Chase Comet coffee service in excellent and original condition, and would be a great addition to the any Chase Chrome collection.
