Vintage 1930 Art Deco HAU / HAC German Mantle Clock Crossed Arrow Trademark - made by HAU Hamburg Amerikanische Uhrenfabrik or the Hamburg American Clock (HAC) Company 1892 - 1930. HAU was absorbed into Junghans Clock Company in 1930 Has a dial that says Made in England so the dial may be a replacement. It is also possible that the movement was used by an English clock maker after HAU ceased manufacturing movements under their own trademark. very deco styling Brass catherdral gong. chimes the hours and a single strike on the half hour. Has a very loud, yet melodic gong. circa 1925 to 1930 Excellent condition, . . . . only flaw is that the rear access door has been repaired - it was cracked Rosewood case with chrome ball feet 13 x 7-1/2 x 5 with a 5-3/4 inch dial Original finish is excellent except for a few tiny scuffs Runs very well, movement oiled 100% original, includes a vintage key SEE PHOTOS
