Vintage Catalina Tile Table. It has a wrought iron base and large, heavy, thick hand painted tiles. The tiles m easure 8 inches square and are very thick. The table measures 17 1/2 by 17 1/2 inches square, and is 16 inches high. Picture 9 shows the underside of of the table, and I am not sure how it would have looked originally, but it appears tha t the grout is present in place of the original table bottom. Perhaps it rusted out or maybe they were made this way. It has thick grout lines and the tiles are bowed up toward the center. They may need t o be removed and regrouted onto a piece of plywood and reset back in to the table base. All in all the table is very nice and displays great but needs work. T iles this size are hard to find and in great shape they are very collectible. Please see the pictures and ask me anything else you might need to know.
