FOR SALE a VINTAGE 1930'S ART DECO CHROME PENGUIN COCKTAIL SHAKER. –IT MEASURES 11 ¾” H X 8” across-spout tohandle. Shaker is in the shape of a penguin, and features a screw-off knob on the beak for pouring. The shaker is in excellent vintage condition, with no dents, dings, or rust the only imperfections I see are some scratches on top of the beak see picture # 9 . The inside is very clean. It is unmarked.**Notice that the head separates at the neck and not at the middle of the body as the reproductions do. Also the cover of the spout is a cap and not a screw as the reproductions have. Most reproductions were made in India in 1998 and they are marked on the bottom. If you look at the pictures you will find other differences like wings , beak, handle, vent hole in the forehead, and of course the quality of the material.
