RARE ESTATE FIND! Up for auction is this fantastic Rare antique Camillus Cutlery "Babe Ruth" folding pocket knife - this has got to be one of the very rarest pocket knives ever made by the Camillus Cutlery Company and it is VERY OLD!it is very outstanding and amazing - it is a figural baseball bat made with genuine celluloid handles and with the Babe Ruth signature engraved beautifully on the handle along with a baseball next to the signature - we believe that it was made in the 1920's or 1930's - it is a SMALL sized knife measuring 2 1/2 inches long in the folded closed position and with a 2 inch blade and the other blade is one inch, entire knife when opened up measures just a hair OVER 4 3/4 inches long - it is clerarly signed on each side of the blade - one side bares the Camillus "Cross Sword" early trademark and the other side of the blade reads; CAMILLUS CUTLERY CO. CAMILLUS, NEW YORK - it is in fantastic condition considering its age with very little wear to the handle and very little wear to the blades - no knicks anyw on the blades edge and the tip of the blade is perfect - very minor wear to this knife considering its age - amazing condition and the little wear that it has only adds character and charm - the blade would buff up easily if so desired but we think it should be left all original as it is and it is outstanding! Both blades open and close very nicely and the spine spring operates perfectly and is all good and tight
