Up for auction is a really nice vintage 1930's black with gold trim and double jeweled Parker Vacumatic pen and pencil set in very good condition with no deep scratches, cracks, chips or brassing on either the pen or the pencil. The pen is 4 3/4 inches long with the top screwed on. The impression on the barrel reads- Geo. S. Parker PARKER VACUMATIC Made in U.S.A. 34. The gold Parker Vacumatic point is in perfect condition and appears to be fine to medium. Please note that photo #8 shows a piece of lint on the back of the point. It is NOT a crack. The pen will , however, need a new diaphragm to work. I am not that skilled in Parker diaphragm replacement and did not want to spoil a truly pretty pen.The mechanical pencil is almost 5 inches long. The impression on the barrel reads- Geo. S. Parker-PARKER-Made in U.S.A. 9. Other than a worn eraser, the pencil is in very good condition and works perfectly.
