Classically beautiful Sunbeam toaster that is in wonderful working condition! I have not seen one this nice in eons! The toaster has great Deco lines and ready to go on your kitchen counter. T is a adjustable knob for perfect toasting. One end reads Pops Toast UP Keeps Toast Warm! A T-9 toaster is featured on the front of TOASTERS 1909-1960 A Look At Ingenuity and Design of Toaster Makers by Schiffer Books. Sunbeam was the first company to use a sensor to measure the amount of heat that the toast was giving off. Thus the Pop Up Toaster was born!! We have seen examples of this toaster over the years but this is one stands out. This example heats evenly and pops up when done. The cord is in great shape. Chrome shows normal wear but a cream chrome polish should do wonders. We have only dusted it off and wiped it down. It was in storage for decades! Thus this toaster needs a good interior cleaning.
