A lovely vintage hat block originally from France but I bought this one and the other one I have for sale from Germany. These hat blocks are becoming increasingly rare to find. This hat block would have been for a ladies hat. The wood looks like pine wood and it has a circumference of approx 68cm. There is some evidence of woodworm in the past. In very good condition for its age which probably is from around the 1930s. There is even a handwritten name inside this hat block " Libelle". Some wearing away of the outer wood covering as shown in the photo. These hat blocks would look great as a display item! !
