GEMS paper Cup Dispenser with glass chute.

This has a patent number 1703637 which comes in around 1929-1930-1931. This is a cast metal base with a glass chute to house the cups. Some of the cups that are with this are very old as well, they look unlike those we are familiar with today, like a Dixie brand cup. T are maybe 2 dozen of those cups enclosed as well. The unit has a wall bracket that mounts to the wall and then the base slips down over the bracket. Then the glass sleeve goes on top. This is about 14-15” when assembled.

Push the button on the front of the base and 1 cup falls out and catches on a metal hook waiting for your removal. T is a metal plate on the glass section reading “ GEMS No. 44 and 37” and “Reg US Pat Off”. The base has the Lily-Tulip info with the patent number and info as stated above.

This works as expected and the unit has some slight oxidation ( color change ) but no rust and as far as I can tell, no damage. In fact this is likely much nicer than you would expect for an item that may be pushing 80 years of age.

Delivery confirmation and $.50 PER BOX /PACKAGE (not per item) are added to your final invoice to help cover packing materials. We ship worldwide. We use all carriers and levels of delivery. If parcel post/1 st class is LESS than the priority rate shown on the calculator, we will ship that way . Before invoicing you, we search for the least costly shipping to your area unless you request a specific mode. Your shipping charges are never padded or one rate to all. If you prepay before the final invoice and overpay, we refund over postage charges of $1.00 + and if your prepayment is not enough to cover postage you will be invoiced for the correct amount before the package is released. **OVERNIGHT FedEx delivery is available-ask for details.** If your item is a RUSH , please drop us a note and we will place it at the top of the invoice list. Payment is expected within 5 days of close of auction. Please do not contact us on day 5 with future payment arrangements. We are willing to work with you but we need to know right away if you need a special arrangement. If special packing is needed please state so before you are invoiced. DO NOT wait until after you are invoiced and then ask for special packing or you may be re-invoiced to reflect additional weight/shipping changes to address your request.

PA Residents add 6% tax on item cost. YES, we will combine your wins to save your shipping costs. Exceptions would be items that are fragile and large/heavy items that should not travel with fragile items. If a return is agreed upon, we do not pay for return postage for any reason.
