VINTAGE 1930s QUAKER OATS WHOLE WHEAT BISCUITS BOX

EXCELLENT CONDITION

ITEM DESCRIPTION: is the real McCoy, an original Quaker Oats MUFFETS Whole Wheat Biscuits box in excellent condition made by the Quaker Oats company of Chicago back in the 1930s. The box is 11" long and is six-sided. It was only partially opened to remove the biscuits, tfore, the remaining flap and perforations have not been opened. The artwork and illustrations on this box are in excellent condition when you consider its age. As you turn the box around each of the six sides, t is different printing, including the words "Muffets Brand Whole Wheat Biscuits, Weight 8 oz. net, Made By The Quaker Oats Company - Chicago - U.S.A." " Ingredients: Whole Wheat, Irradiated Dry Yeast. Each Biscuit provides 50% of the Minimum Daily Requirement of Vitamin D". Even the ends of the box have information (see photos).

This is a rare piece of Quaker Oats history. I recently acquired this item from the widow of a former Quaker Oats worker who worked in both the Chicago and Jackson Tenneessee Plants in the 1930s and 1940s. Check out my other auctions for the other two Quaker Oats items.
