Vintage 1934 Royal O Model Portable Typewriter Wonderful Clean Working Machine Brand - Make: The Royal Typewriter Company Keyboard Width: Approx 10 1/2 INCHES Model: O-363082 Original or Reproduction: ORIGINAL Color and Finish: BLACK SMOOTH SHINY with GLASS KEYS Original Condition or Restored: ORIGINAL Length: Approx 10 INCHES Height: Approx 4 1/2 INCHES Type Desktop or Portable: MANUAL PORTABLE Carraige Width: Approximately 12 InchesRoyal Model "O" Typewriter. It is one of the few typewriters Royal produced without any identifying name to it. Model O because the serial number starts with "o". O models started production in 1932 and quickly became one of the most popular prewar portables. These machines are getting very difficult to find, and in this original beautiful condition very rare. Black finish is excellent for 81 years old. This is a 1934 that has been used very little and stored for over 50 years. All four feet lock securely in case for storage or transport. Case in very good condition except strap for handle is missing.
