This auction is for a RARE late 1936-38 Slingerland Radio King Snare Drum Shell with original Cloud Badge. Solid Maple shell with thin reinforcement rings. Actual depth is about 5 1/4" x 14" - 8 lug. The Radio King Snare was introduced in 1936 so this is one of the first RK's made. This may have been a deeper shell and cut down...there are two extra holes under each of the 4pt bridges and the muffler holes look high. The bearing edges are also a little wavy. There is some some staining on the interior but is only cosmetic, the shell is structurally sound and is in round and modern heads fit nicely. The badge has NOT been removed. The grommet has not been removed and the remnants of the original White Marine Pearl is still under the badge. Look for other very hard to find parts in separate auctions. Please check out photos and ask any questions. No reserve. Shipping is $15 to the lower 48 states. I ship to the USA ONLY. Please pay within 3 days. If there is ever a problem or any questions with a transaction please let me know. Thanks for reading.
