FOR SALE: Vintage, RARE, Cross collectible, Excellent, round, 100, CAMEL cigarette tin mailed as a Christmas gift in 1938. The top has a removeable mailing label that shows the tin was mailed as a Christmas present from Denver to Seattle using one John Quincy Adams 6 cent stamp (1938 only). The mailing label came with the tin, and fits perfectly in the recess of the lid. The 66 year old glue on the back of the label has lost its adhesive strength, and can easily be lifted out of the lid with NO DAMAGE to it or the underlying printed lid. I don't know about you, but I am a 37 year antique nut and think this is one of the neater things I've ever found - A rare tin in great shape, with documented history, for sale just before Christmas. What a tremendous gift for the tin, tobacco, or STAMP collector, or yourself.

CONDITION: 98% original paint with several small and normal dings that do not distract. Please note all sides are shown in the photos. The front and back match, as do the sides. The dark rectangle you see to the upper right of one Camel panel is a partial tax stamp, NOT discoloration or damage. Also, flash reflections do not hide flaws.
