Vintage "ORANGE CRUSH" liteup advertising clock from the 1940's.

Clock was made during the war effort(WWII) when metals were scarce and being used for weapons of mass destruction, hence the pressed cardboard clock housing.

If you were arond back when, you might have seen this beauty hanging-out in your favorite soda fountain, coffee shop or candy store. I my opinion, this is one of the nicest examples of "ORANGE CRUSH" advertising that I have ever come across and has been the "pride" of my personal colection for many years.

The advertising glass within is without cracks or chips of any kind and all hardware including the cord, trim ring, glass bezel and telechron movement are original to the clock.

Very minimal wear to the hang hole(most previous examples are wallered-out). Regardless of what you have seen offered here in the past, this clock is gonna blow them away.

Would make an absolute awesome addition to any collection and I really hate to part with it. But as with anything else, my collection is out of control and I am in need of a little thinning-out.

There are no words to describe the wonderful orange glow that this clock gives of as it illuminates the little "crushy figure . It makes a great night light as is what it was used for for the past ten years. It runs quietly and has not missed a second of time. Only minimal wear to the original case where the clock has contacted the wall surface.

Do not let this "Minty", "Crisp"example of "Orange crush" advertising get away. It will be a long time before another this fine comes along on ebay. Make it yours now!
