For auction I have a vintage 1940`s Mido multifort super-automatic watch, this superb Swiss made bumper (automatic self-wind) watch is in great condition with very little ware, the watch is in full working order........The watch has a screw-type back, written on the watch back is : Mido, Multifort, Automatic, Rustless Steel, Waterproof, Impermeable, Anti-Choc, Antimagnetic and Switzerland, written on the inside of the watch back is : Mido Limited, Switzerland, Brit.Pat. 385509, Rustless Steel and the serial number : 965465 (the last four digits are repeated on the case), the watch back is in good condition with some minor scratches,The watch has a steel case, written between the lugs of the case are the numbers :5465, the watch case is in good condition with very little ware,The watch is fitted with a fabulous cal-1017 bumper automatic (self-wind) movement, written on the movement is : Mido Limited (with the Mido starfish symbol), 1017, 17 Seventeen Jewels, 3 X Adjustments, Made in Switzerland with the numbers : 8758, the watch movement is in great condition and it is also in full working order,The watch has a silver/grey dial , the dial has applied luminous numeral hour markers with an outer marked min/seconds track, the watch has blued-steel hands with luminous-filled strips, the watch has a blued-steel sweeping seconds hand, the read more
