Vintage American Flyer train engine. The engine does not have a model number on it, but it looks like a 1940's era #312. I do not have a way of testing the functions on this piece, hence it is untested & being sold as-is. Overall, I think this would be a good example for restoration or maybe it could be used for parts. With that being said, I am not a train expert & I ask that you look at the photos to ascertain the overall condition. Please check my other listings, as I will be listing a large collection of vintage train pieces (Marx, Lionel, American Flyer, etc) & will combine shipping when possible. I have had a couple of people ask me about the scale/gauge of the engine. I had originally thought that this piece was S scale, but a bidder messaged me & said that it is " 3/16" Scale 3 rail O Gauge".
