This auction is for a rare late 1940's WFL Buddy Rich Snare Drum. 5.5" x 14" - 8 Lug. Aluminum WFL Badge. Other than the used Remo heads it is 100% original and complete. Shell is 3ply with mahogany interior and maple reinforcement rings with no extra holes and excellent factory bearing edges. The WMP has the usual yellowing a few fine hairline cracks due to age but still looks nice. Chrome over brass hoops. P-87 strainer and extended butt plate with original wires. Wires extend past the head similar to a Radio King making the drum very sensitive. Plastic wire tab has an extra hole drilled for better wire tension (wires have stretched over the years). Never drilled for a muffler! Not a mint drum but a very nice 60+ year old snare. Super clean. Sounds excellent. No reserve.Feel free to ask any questions. Thanks for viewing and be sure to check out my other listings. Shipping is $20 to the lower 48 states. I ship to the USA ONLY.
