Vintage 1940's Kroll Seattle & Puget Sound WallMap This sale is for a Vintage 1940's Kroll Washington State Wall Map showing Seattle & Puget Sound titled The Evergreen Playground. It measures about 33 1/2" x 21" and I would say it covers pretty much all of the upper top left part of the state, and I love the Native American themed border with an old logging truck, a prop plane, an ocean liner ship, trains and all the things to do in our state flanked by two tall evergreen trees. It's in pretty good condition but there are a few small edge tears and edge roughness, there's some slight creasing where it was rolled and there's some tape on the back ( again on the edge ) and the part that was exposed when rolled up is age dirty, but all this would not be seen when framed ( It will be shipped rolled & slightly flattened ) Note : Here's a little something about the Kroll map Co. : Kroll's tradition of quality cartography began in 1911, when Carl Kroll acquired the longstanding Anderson Map Company and the Washington Map and Blueprint Company.
