1940's vintage large Buddy L pressed steel Excavator Truck , and pressed steel Buddy L Steam Shovel with blue steel ramp . The gray and blue excavator truck measures about 20 1/2 inches in length , 6 1/2 inches wide and about 6 inches high. It is in played with condition , there is some paint loss , all the tires are good , no cracking or dry rot. Debossed on the the flatbed part of the truck is Buddy L Company Quality Toys East Moline Ill , Made in the U.S. of America . On the sides of the flatbed there are decals on both sides. One side is complete Buddy L Excavator Truck , the other side has Excavator Truck. Both doors on the truck are embossed with the Buddy L logo. The steam shovel is 6 inches wide, 16 inches long and about 14 inches high from ground to the top of the shovel. Condition is very good , tires are dirty but no cracks or dry rot. It has a blue pressed steel ramp for loading the steam shovel onto the flatbed. Both of these pieces have dirt and dust from being played with over 60 years ago , they have been in storage ever since then. Each piece weighs about 4 pounds 8 ounces , together unpacked it is 9 pounds , with packing we are estimating it to be 11 pounds 3 ounces , we will ship this in the most cost effective way for the buyer .
