Presenting ..... A Set of 6 Vintage 1940's Demitasse Cups & Saucers from Occupied Japan!! Ladies & Gentlemen – here's a beautiful delicately made set of demitasse cups and saucers that you surely don't want to miss bidding on.They floral patterns are hand painted (stated on bottom of cups). The cups and saucers are made of Porcelain China . Each cup has a gold trim on the edge of the rim and its handle and also on the edge around the saucer. In order to really experience the true beauty of this set, you must see them in person to appreciate the craftsmanship.There were made in Occupied Japan as you'll see on the hallmark in the additional picture in this listing.They come in a lovely set of six (6) -- perfect for that special after dinner party when you are ready to serve up some tea/coffee. Perhaps too beautiful to even be served to guests and should be simply displayed in a cabinet or shelf to experience its elegance.And of course they also make an excellent gift for that special collector!!!This set has NO cracks, chips or marks on it. It is in fine EXCELLENT condition. This item will surely please anyone you chose to gift it to and even makes a great gift for yourself !This set is from an estate in my family and from the 1940's .
