Vintage 1940's Hollowbody Acoustic/Electric Vega Guitar Up for auction is a beautiful vintage hollow body Vega . Its excellently preserved with one blemish, explained below. Comes with all-original hardware, including its original Kluston tuners. One of the coolest parts about this guitar is that the pickup height is adjustable manually from either side, which allows for a wide variety of sounds. Pretty nifty for a guitar from this era. All electronics are fully working. Comes with original (albiet worn) carrying case.Before purchasing this guitar, the neck was cracked. It was repaired by the prior owner, but I had it professionally restored by master luthier Matt Artinger (/).This is the same guitar that Steve Kimock has played for a number of years. He has described it as a very "personal" instrument.
