CUTE! And so RARE..........made only one year, in 1941, by MADAME ALEXANDER. M.A. is especially collectible because of the beauty of her dolls and this one is certainly no exception! She is 18" tall, all composition, with high facial and body color and her original human hair wig (in it's original set). Her amber brown eyes are still quite clear, the sleep mechanism works and her lashes are full.Her back is marked: ALEXANDERDOLL CO.PAT. NO. 2171281Although there are some rub marks around her leg and arm joints, she has only minor crazing throughout her body and face. Note: her walking mechanism is broken and there is some damage on each back of each upper thigh, the right side more than the left. When dressed, this damage is not evident except for the slight turn of one leg.I have dressed her in an age appropriate cotton blue and white dress with vintage panties, vintage blue and white socks and beige vintage tie shoes. She has the most adorable chubby legs with pink knees. She can both stand and sit, although her stringing of her arms and legs could be tighter.Jeannie Walker is one of the rarest and prettiest dolls that M.
