PLEASE READ DESCRIPTION WELL DON'T JUST LOOK AT THE PICTURES.Up for auction is this real nice bakelite zenith radio. As far as I know it is 6D512. There are not tags on it so had to look on the internet. The case has not chips or cracks. Still has the factory shine with a few scratches from wear. On the side panel after the grill work (left side)the finish has speckled dots. You can't feel them so if it is a factory defect I don't know. See picture for a better detail. Nice brass airplane dial. The dial cover has a crack in the lower right corner and is a little cloudy, see picture. As you can see by the orange wire on the back it has been worked on. It has the original cord which show wear some cracks in the rubber but serviceable. The radio does work and brings in stations well. It probably could use a little more tinkering with to make the stations real clear. The knobs are the original Z knobs. Notice that one is a little lighter than the other and also they are not perfect. They have dents in them here and there. I put the felt pads on the bottom. Whatever was suppose to be feet are missing and it needed something to keep the screws that hold the chassis in from scraping whatever surface it sat on.I try to describe things to the best of what I see.As with all old radios, I cannot guarantee that something will not shake loose read more
