vintage 1948 Celilo Falls Indian Fishing Oregon History DESCRIPTION Wonderful lot of 14 vintage slides. There are 8 Kodachrome 35mm slides with red border mounts (two have handwritten dates of 1948), 4 "Color Transparency" slides with handwritten dates of 1963, and 2 additional slides that I think are of the Dalles Dam. The most interesting photographs are the four slides showing the Native Americans fishing at Celilo falls; these red border Kodachrome slides are from the late 40s or early 50s (they are not dated). The slides from the 1960s are from a later trip after the falls were flooded by the Dalles Dam. The slides are in focus and the bright spots in my pictures of the slides are just reflections from the flash. I usually don't accept returns on slides because they can be copied.
