This auction is for a Vintage 1950's 60's Tonka Toys No.46 Suburban Pumper Press Steel Fire Truck with the Original Box. This truck is in Very Good To Excellent condition. It is missing a few pieces. The ladder, the fire hydrant wrench and plug that goes in the top and one of the rollers or rack supports are missing. Everything else appears to be intact. This truck has some small chips in the paint in the bed of the truck, the front of the hood has a chip and also there are some on the two opening cargo doors on each side of the truck. There is some small flaking along some of the edges of the truck in a couple of areas. One area is along the bottom drivers side rear fender and most notable along the bottom edge of the back of the truck. There is also a large area of paint loss on the bottom corner of the rear platform. I really do not see any rust in these areas. You can see the metal so the truck is very sound and strong. All the decals look good. The front chrome bumpers and headlights are discolored. The diamond plate all looks nice and shiny. The tires, whitewalls and hubcaps are nice. Both fire extinguishers are on the truck. This truck is about 17 1/2" long by 6" wide by 5 3/4" tall. The extinguisher that connects to the garden hose has some paint chips on it and is missing the wrench and the plug that goes in the top. One section of the hose is still attached to it. This truck would be a good one to display as is. You could get the missing parts for it pretty easily. People part out the junkers and sell the parts on e-bay. Or It would be a great one to fix up the little stuff and have a mint truck. The box is in Fair to Maybe good condition. It is missing one of the flaps on on the open end and one other has a tear in it. Two of the long sides have some paper loss that you will see in the photos. One other side has the original small piece of tape on it and the other side is good. The other end is intact and strong. The box also has some staining and generally showing some age on it.
