VINTAGE 1950’S KMT MODEL TRAIN SET O GAUGE This is a vintage KMT (Kusan Model Train) from the 1950’s. I actually received this for Christmas when I was a child and if I remember correctly, it was used as a display in a liquor store where my father worked part time. I have had it packed away for many many years and have decided it’s time to part with it. I have tested the transformer and it worked when I hooked it up directly to the engine. I did not get it to work on the tracks. The transformer is a “K” series model KS-6 and marked Kusan-Auburn, Inc., Nashville , Tennessee . There are 10 pieces of curved track, a red “ Missouri , Kansas , Texas ” engine, a caboose, a box car and a flat bed with one wheel set missing. See pics. I am not an expert on trains but from what research I did, I believe it is an “O” gauge or scale set. Please email me with any questions.
