Up for auction is an authentic vintage Liberace toy tie-in miniature plastic piano produced in the late forties and signed by LIBERACE himself in brown felt-tip marker on the inside of the piano's cover. The inscription reads "To M. Hanna from your friend always, Liberace and George too ! 6-22-50" and has a small drawing of a piano that Liberace did as well. The face of the piano has a lovely bust of Liberace in raised black ink. The piano is in very good condition. The only damage is a missing hinge knub on the flip-top that keeps the lid from remaining in the open position, and one of the three legs is not original - it is a very similar replacement, probably from another toy (perhaps a dollhouse chairleg - the difference is very small and hardly noticeable - the piano sits flat, no rocking). T's also a very fine hairline crack at one corner of the lid. It's about an inch long but almost invisible. The piano key decal is intact and clean. The piano measures 4"x6" and stands 3 1/2" tall with the lid closed. The George referred to in the inscription was Liberace's brother.....Check out our other interesting auctions.
