Vintage 1950s/60s Brown Leather Kelly Style Handbag DESCRIPTION: Up for auction is this exquisite original vintage 1950s- 1960s dark brown leather Kelly style handbag. Very Grace Kelly. A very stylish and versatile item, perfect for day or evening wear. Could be worn to compliment modern and vintage styles. With gold tone metal frame and clasp. Lined with beige suede. Main compartment, small side compartment and metal zip pocket. BRAND: N/A PERIOD: 1950s- 1960s. By the late 60s, metal zips were being replaced by nylon ones, so the presence of a metal zip would possibly suggest that this bag predates this. MATERIAL: Dark brown grainy leather outer, beige suede lining and gold tone frame and clasp. SIZE: Small to medium sized handbag. Width (at the frame): 24cm Width (at the base): 26cm Height: 16cm Depth (at the base): 8cm CONDITION: Very good to excellent vintage condition. Free of serious scuffs, stains, smells, seam separation or creases. The bottom corners of the bag are a tiny bit scuffed but otherwise the bag looks like it has had hardly any wear.
