Superb Vintage " Bird of Paradise " costume brooch, circa 1950s, by Sphinx. High quality costume brooch is set with multi coloured paste diamante stones, the head of the bird is turquoise set. This magnificent brooch measures 2.5 x 3.5 ins. Excellent condition. All stones present. Good functioning hook & pin, with rollover safety catch. The brooch is marked "SPHINX" on the reverse , within an oval lozenge.
