Original 1950s dance dress in taffeta by Carnegie.Fitted gored bodice with very full skirt with a big floppy bow which sits on top of the waist.With full gauze net petticoat with a deep pink trim on hem which is attached to the dress.Deep pink gold and yellow stylized flowers on a black background.In lovely condition ,3 small pin pricks in folds of skirt.Two only visible when held to light,the third more like a very small break that you can see when pointed out.Bearing Carnegie Model label "its a symphony". Fabulous example of a 1950s dance dress,with good vibrant colours.Measures Bust 34 inches, Waist 26 inches.Postage 4 pounds recorded delivery.
