A Vintage 1950's 'Firestone' Table Top Tube Radio. The radio is an off white with gold color 'Firestone' and numbers on the front. The radio measures approx. 8 3/4"L x 4 1/2"W x 5 3/4"H and weighs nearly 4 lbs. It does show some scratching and some small spots of paint loss. It also has a small crack on the top back corner. The grill is a black, tan and red color striped material. The underside has a paper label that reads 'Firestone Radio Receiver' at the top and gives the specifications and tube locations. It does show some staining and spots of material loss. The back cover is brown and has 2 stock numbers and a code number and marked '11-50'. The bottom right corner is stamped 'N-8138'. The cord does show some dirt type staining, but is in good cond. The radio does play and gets 3 or 4 stations, but will need to be fine tuned. The inside is very clean and has all of the tubes. This is a very nice 'Tube Radio' or 'Firestone' collectible ( the first one I have ever seen ). See pictures. Questions are welcome!
