Vintage 1950s HARWOOD STEIGER 'Screen Printed Fabric entitled "TREES" ... this is for a little over 2 FULL YARDS of 44 inch wide WOVEN fabric... could be a heavy woven cotton or linen... not sure. Harwood Steiger opened his studio back in the 1950s in Tubac, Arizona (an artist's colony about 40 miles south of Tucson) and became famous for his charming Southwest Screen Printed and designed cotton fabrics. Every now and again we are lucky enough to find a piece of his beautifully printed fabrics. This auction is unusual because it is not the standard thin "cotton" but a heavy weave AND over 2 continuous YARDS! Nice opportunity for someone who recognizes the quality and rarity of the Harwood Steiger line! Hope you enjoy the auction! Remember to check out our other items... we are happy to combine.
