Vintage 1950's Heddon Scissortail 9830XBW Fishing Lure Heddon Scissortail Fishing Lure 9830 XBW - Black and White Shore Minnow Up for your consideration is this Beautiful Heddon Scissortail 9830 XBW - Black and White Shore Minnow. This color pattern is not the normal black and white shore minnow that you might find on other lures, but the scissortail was actually black with black scales on the belly, no white ribs as on other lures. This lure measures3 1/2" long. This lure was only made by Heddon from 1953 to 1956, this was the last year of production. The lure is in great shape, t looks as though t might be a factory mistake with the paint of the mouth. One side looks as though the paint was off by a little. Also on the top tail portion t is a small worm burn it looks like, hard to see unless you tilt the lure and the light glares off of that spot. Otherwise the lure is sharp looking and is a beauty to show off. Thanks for looking and please look at the pictures before bidding.
