This is a vintage pencil box made in the 1950's. The lid is marked only: "HOPALONG CASSIDY...PENCIL CASE." The top pictures the western cowboy hero; HOPALONG CASSIDY, as famously played by William Boyd. It is not dated, but this was certainly made in the fifties. The case has, what I believe are, the original contents. There are TWO graphite pencils marked: "HOPALONG CASSIDY...MADE IN U.S.A." Neither one of these pencils has been sharpened, and they are virtually like new. The other items in the box are rather generic, and are NOT marked "Hopalong Cassidy." The crayons appear to be unused, but are partly melted. The case is made of cardboard and the inner sleeve slides in & out. It measures 4 & 1/4 x 8 inches and is 3/4 of an inch deep. The overall condition of the box is GOOD. It has some surface soiling, moisture stains and is slightly warped. The left 1/4 of the front, is a bit lighter in color than the rest of the box. The box has some general wear & tear, but still displays well and is still fairly sturdy. While the box is a nice addition to any collection, probably the REAL prize here are the 2 unused pencils, inside the box. Box and all contents are guaranteed to be old & original or your money back.Thank you for shopping at Funky retro MonkeyWE stand behind all of our merchandise and we believe in treating our customers like
