Up for auction is a vintage mid 1950s KO Sparky Robot, made in Japan. This is one of the first few tin windup robots to be produced and is a must-have for any robot collector. This is a rare original that shows signs of spot rust and normal play use. One hand appears to have some extra wear and bending to it. The toy winds up and the antenna works as a start/stop switch for motion. However, he is hardly able to walk when wound. When lifted off a surface the mechanical interior workings make a spinning sound an the legs ever so slightly move forward and back without his weight. He is marked Japan between his legs and measures approximately 8" tall by 3" wide. Please visit my eBay store /picking-around-townPosted with eBay Mobile
