Vintage, circa 1950s, vibrant, fighting tiger and lion figurine, about 10 1/2" across and about 6" high, hand painted with a glossy finish, in excellent condition except for an about 1/4"x1/8" paint chipping to the bottom of the paw of the lion (see in first picture and last picture), barely no depth and no distortion to the lines of the paw. The other paws were done with white coming over the bottom of the paws (see lion's back paw) but this paw has the glaze chipping, not overt and fits in with the other paws but t All colors are lush and vibrant. On the bottom of one paw is JAPAN with a leaf like wreath, not quite touching, with a bow and a three petal flower in the middle. Interesting estate sale treasure find.
