MADAME ALEXANDER 16" Elise Doll from the late 50's or maybe the early 60's.Elise is dressed for her wedding, but is missing her veil and head piece. Her dress is nice, a bit discolored, and I did find one very small (about 1/4" big) hole in the tulle netting in the back, which can very easily be hidden in the folds for display. Her dress has 2 layers, the bottom layer organza, with an outer layer of tulle netting which covers the entire dress. The front of the skirt and the neckline on the bodice are trimmed in lace, the neckline also has 2 separate rows of bead trim. It is held closed in the back with a series of 4 snaps. The dress retains the original tag. Other than the small hole in the tulle netting, the dress in in good condition, but the elastic in the sleeves is stretched.She is also still wearing her original pearl earrings, panties, nylons-in excellent condition, and pink satin, ballet slipper style shoes, with a small heel.Elise is in excellent condition. She is clean, has all of her eyelashes, retains all of her lip color, has no green ear, and has eyes that open and close properly. She is jointed at the elbows and knees, along with the regular ones at the shoulders and hips. All of her limbs are nice and tight. She has a short, curly bubble style hairdo, which looks pretty good, but could perhaps use a set. I have combed read more
