center> Bits And Bobs Antiques Vintage 1950s Merit Dan Dare Space Control Radio Station Made by J & L Randall, Potters Bar, England, this is a fabulous Dan Dare Space Control Radio Station toy which we believe dates from around the 1950s. It is in "as found" condition and has not been repaired or restored by us. We haven't tried to fit batteries, as we are not sure of the correct size, and therefore the set is sold untested. One of the two space walkie-talkies is missing and the remaining one is broken but everything else appears to there and intact. The dials turn as they should and the radio station is in good clean condition with its search light, space telebuzzer and switchboard-type plug. The original box is sturdy and intact, as is the lid, which retains its bright colours although it does have a few stains. The box measures approx 14 inches wide by 13½ inches high and 3¾ inches deep. NOTES: We will not take early offers or end auctions early, so don’t ask – thank you!
