Vintage 1950's NAPCO "Cookies" Cookie Jar, EXCELLENT Description : Napco Japan, Vintage 1950's "COOKIES" Cookie Jar Fresh from a Northwest Estate, you are bidding on a wonderful Napco "Cookies" Pottery cookie jar from the 1950's with the 5 Cookies and a Walnut as the finial on the lid. The jar is covered with beautiful and vibrant cookies and no two are the same. This NAPCO cookie jar still has the original sticker on it that reads "National Potteries Cleveland OH, Made in Japan" along with what appears to be a stamped serial number of C-3541. The jar is in wonderful condition with the usual crazing that comes with a jar of this age. The color of the cookies are robust and beautiful. The bottom has typical wear marks of a well used and loved cookie jar. T appears to be 2 small red spots on the lid that seem to be under the glazing, like it occurred at the factory (see pcitures). I see no visible cracks or chips. The jar appears to be about 10 inches high with the lid and 5 1/2 inches in diameter at the bottom. This is now one of the most popular cookie jars among collectors...you won't find another one this nice! Please see the pictures to further judge the condition of this Vintage Cookie Cutie! Successful bidder pays $14.50 shipping + any insurance. Please e-mail me with questions before you bid as this item is sold as-is. Shipping
