REAL Vintage Royal Crown RC Cola Sign Thermometer This is a very nice nostalgic piece made back in the 50s. You probably remember these from gas stations & grocery stores. These signs were a great advertising campaign. A person checks the thermometer to see how hot it is & then the eye naturally travels up the arrow to read Royal Crown Cola & has the solution to the heat. Nothings better than an ice cold RC cola on a hot summer day. This thermometer measures 25 1/2" tall and 9 1/2" wide. It reads: Drink Royal Crown Cola reg. U.S. pat. Off. Best by taste-test A Product of Nehi Corp. 512 Dasco 2-48. Measures from 0-130 in Fahrenheit & Celsius. The red white & yellow colors & graphics are all clearly legible. The thermometer does work. The wood is tight & solid. This sign has fantastic patina! You canâe(tm)t fake real ageing patina & anyone who takes a look at this will know its real vintage & not a cheap reproduction. This sign has very slight age discoloration, a few very small dings, a few light scuffs, a few tiny scratches & a speck of white paint & t Looks fantastic! If you're after an antique sign for you're home, office or show car garage then this is the one Iâe(tm)d bid on. T is 1 small hole located at the bottom right corner, in the last âeoeTâe of âeoeTESTâe from a nail or screw to keep it from rocking in the wind.
