More great finds from an estate sale. This is an absolutely wonderful vintage 1950's pose-able Roldan cloth doll set with all original accessories. Roldan's figures are marvelous depictions of life in Spain circa the 1950's. This is already a rare doll, and this particular example is in collector quality, so you may never find another one this nice. This expecting mother carries her toddler boy with dark curly hair who's got his toy drum & sticks in hand. In her other arm, mom is carrying a big vinyl tote with wool knitting yarn and wooden needles which she surely uses for knitting baby clothes. The mother doll measures approximately 10.5" tall. I will not provide her width, since it would be impolite to do so, but she seems to be fairly advanced in her pregnancy. If you peek under the bottom of her shirt, you can see that she has quite the baby bump. The toddler boy measures approximately 4" and is wearing a blue jacket over a red outfit to coordinate with the blue and red bracelets on mom's left wrist. Mother is all made-up, and is wearing dangle earrings and a floral print neck scarf. The Roldan tag is still stitched to her stylish silk-crepe maternity top, and interior wire-armatures allow for posing. Please note that stand is not included.
